Deputy Manager
Location: Yellowbird Selby Road
As an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing our residential home. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home, delivering the highest standards of care and support to the children.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the leadership and management of the residential home.

Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including Ofsted standards.

Provide support and supervision to a team of care staff, fostering their professional growth.

Develop and maintain care plans tailored to individual children’s needs.

Promote a positive and homely atmosphere for the children.

Manage rotas, staff schedules, and sleep-in duties.

Work collaboratively with families, schools, and external professionals.
What We Offer:

Competitive salary of £32,000 per annum.

Sleep-in allowance of £6,000 per year.

About You:

A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a children’s residential setting.

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is essential; Level 5 is desirable.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

A passion for improving the lives of young people.
